Investor Overview

Airvana, Inc. is a leading provider of network infrastructure products used by wireless carriers to provide mobile broadband services. Airvana's software and hardware products enable wireless networks to deliver broadband-quality multimedia services to mobile phones, laptop computers and other mobile devices. These services include Internet access, e-mail, music downloads, video, IP-TV, gaming, push-to-talk and voice-over-IP. Airvana's solutions enable new services and deliver carrier-grade mobility, scalability and reliability with relatively low operating and capital costs.

Airvana's flagship products form the Radio Access Network (RAN) infrastructure for CDMA2000 1xEV-DO (1xEvolution Data Optimized) networks. Airvana also is helping make fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) a reality with its new femto cell products (also known as personal base stations), essentially making the cell phone the primary phone, which will extend the reach of core network services to subscribers regardless of their access method: EV-DO, UMTS and wireline, outdoors and in-building. Airvana's FMC products will enable carriers to take advantage of wireline broadband connections that already exist in most offices and homes to deliver wireless services through a combination of cellular and Wi-Fi networks. Airvana also provides products for specialized mobile broadband applications such as air-to-ground networks that will deliver mobile in-flight broadband connectivity to airline passengers.

Worldwide, Airvana's mobile broadband systems are deployed on six continents in over 30 major networks by industry-leading service providers who demand high standards of carrier-class performance. Airvana has OEM agreements with Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel Networks, and QUALCOMM. Based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Airvana has more than 500 worldwide employees, a strong management team and solid financial track record. Airvana has additional offices in India, the U.K., Japan, Korea and China.
